Privacy Policy for PromptHub

This Privacy Policy describes how PromptHub (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

PromptHub does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information Collected Automatically

Device and Advertising Identifiers We use Google AdMob to display advertisements (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads) within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your Advertising ID), IP address, and general device information to serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud. Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Push Notification Token If you enable notifications, we generate a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for your device and store it on our servers (hosted via Supabase) so we can deliver notifications about new prompts. This token is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identifier — it identifies your device installation only, not you personally.

Analytics We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns (such as which screens are visited and how often the app is opened), so we can improve the app. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

b) Information You Choose to Provide

PromptHub does not require registration. If the app includes any optional features that let you save prompts, submit feedback, or contact us, any information you voluntarily provide through those features (such as an email address, if you choose to email us) is used only to respond to you or improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate and maintain the app
  • Deliver push notifications about new content, if you’ve enabled them
  • Display and measure advertising
  • Understand app usage to improve features and performance
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Third-Party Services

PromptHub uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob — advertising — Privacy Policy
  • Firebase (Google) — push notifications, analytics, crash reporting — Privacy Policy
  • Supabase — backend data storage (prompt content, device notification tokens) — Privacy Policy

These third parties may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to collect and use information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With the third-party service providers listed above, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services (advertising, notifications, analytics, hosting)
  • If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PromptHub, our users, or others

5. Data Retention

Device notification tokens are retained for as long as you have the app installed with notifications enabled, and are removed or become inactive if you uninstall the app or disable notifications. Aggregated analytics data may be retained in accordance with Firebase’s standard retention periods.

6. Children’s Privacy

PromptHub is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Choices

  • Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in the app’s settings or your device’s system settings.
  • Ads personalization: You can manage ad personalization through your device’s system settings (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android, found under Google Settings > Ads).
  • Advertising ID reset: You can reset your device’s Advertising ID at any time through your device settings.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
